How to Use a “Dramatic Demonstration” to Sell Your Skill and Impress New Clients

You may have heard the term “dramatic demonstration” before. Dramatic demonstration means a powerful and theatrical display of your skill.

An easy way to do a dramatic demonstration is with an assessment and adjustment of internal hip rotation.

Many people who have a rotated pelvis will have severely limited internal rotation of one of their femurs. They can easily see the difference when you have them lay supine on your table, hold their legs and rotate them internally.

When you find a leg that doesn’t rotate internally as far as the other, bring it to their attention. Then, adjust it with an axial traction move and check it again.

If it’s still limited in ROM, check the ankle and foot, knee and hip again. Then retest. The result is usually dramatic as you can see in the video below:

Almost everyone at that demonstration became my patient. This is a very powerful way to show the difference an adjustment makes.
